The bell tower

THE BELL TOWER The bell tower is built of brick and wood, covered with tin, in the architectural style of the 18th century. It houses three bells, one of which dates from 1776. Biblical scenes, figures of important hierarchs of Buzău and rulers who had an important contribution to the support of the Diocese of Buzău are painted on the interior walls and on the vault. The building was consolidated and restored according to the solution of the great architect Alexandru Cișmigiu. The bell tower is included in the List of Historic Monuments (BZ-II-m-A-02324.06).
