The premises was founded and consecrated in the fall of 1888. In December 2002, the school took the honorary name of "Captain Aviator Mircea T. Bădulescu" on the occasion of the 85th anniversary of the birth of this ace of the Romanian wings. The military aviator, Mircea T.
