MOSAIC AT THE HOUSE OF CULTURE OF THE UNION (FORMER "TINERETULUI"- “YOUTH” CINEMA) The work is made by the plastic artist Florin Menzopol. The painter Florin Menzopol was born on the 28th of March 1943 in Reni - Bessarabia, but grew up in Mizil. He attended the Institute of Fine Arts "Nicolae Grigorescu" in Bucharest, the monumental painting department. He is a member of the Plastic Artists Union, Buzău branch, since 1968. He participated with works and organized personal exhibitions in the country and abroad. He was a teacher at the Arts High School in Buzău. He has works in public and private collections in the country and abroad (Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Sweden). He was president of the Buzău Branch of the Union of Visual Artists. In 1989 he won the Grand Prize at the "Ion Andreescu" Art Biennale”.
