Buzău State Archives Mosaic

BUZĂU STATE ARCHIVES MOSAIC The work was made by the plastic artist Florin Menzopol, who was born on the 28th of March 1943 in Reni - Bessarabia, but grew up in Mizil. He attended the Institute of Fine Arts "Nicolae Grigorescu" in Bucharest, the monumental painting section. He has been a member, since 1968, of the Union of Visual Artists, Buzău branch. He was a teacher at the Art High School in Buzău, participated with works and organized personal exhibitions in the country and abroad. In 1989 he won the Grand Prize at the "Ion Andreescu" Art Biennale. He has works in public and private collections in the country and abroad (in Belgium, Canada, Switzerland, Sweden). He was president of the Buzău Branch of the Union of Visual Artists.
