The Constantin Dănescu House (Buzău Deanery I)

THE CONSTANTIN DĂNESCU HOUSE ( BUZĂU DEANERY I) Constantin Dănescu, magistrate, journalist and politician, former prefect of Râmnicu Sărat county (1888) and Buzău county (1897), lived in this house. He was born in 1846 in Ploieşti. He attended high school in Bucharest, graduated from Law School in Paris, and became a doctor in administrative and political sciences in Brussels. He was editor of the publications “Gazeta” and “Buzeul” (1888) and founded the “Liberal Buzeu” publication (1898 - 1899). The headquarters of the Buzău Deanery I was consecrated on the 11th of November 2014, following important works of renovation, beautification and arrangement of the building. The blessing service was officiated by His Holiness Father Ciprian, Archbishop of Buzău and Vrancea.
