ARCHBISHOP'S CHANCERY
The Archbishop's Chancery was built in 1838, during the time of Bishop Chesarie (1825-1846), on the place of an older building above the cellar dating from the 17th century, which still exists today. Over the years it has had several uses: residence for the local bishop, hospital (1850- 1854), boarding school for students of the Theological Seminary, premises for the County Court. Most of the Archdiocese's administrative offices are now located here. The Archbishop's Chancery is included in the List of Historical Monuments (BZ-II-m- A-02324.05).
