„THE VICTORY”
Pavel Bucur was born on 1st November 1945 in Bistrița and died in 2016 in Bucharest. Between 1965 and 1971 he attended the Institute of Fine Arts of Bucharest, at the class of Professor Ion Lucian Murnu. He took part in the sessions of the Măgura Sculpture Camp of Buzău. The theme of flight remained one of the constants of his artistic production, with the series of works „Winged”, „Victories” and „Icarus”. He has participated in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad (Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Poland, Austria, etc.).
