THE MONUMENT DEDICATED TO THE HEROES OF 1989 REVOLUTION
A monument dedicated to the memory of the fighters of December 1989 Revolution was placed on the western edge of the Heroes' Cemetery. This monument was erected by the members of "22nd December 1989" Association and nearby, there are the final resting places for the 47 heroes of Buzău of this historical act and their families. The monument consists of a pedestal on which a stone is fixed, that has a crop symbolizing a cross of light. The names of the members of the Association are inscribed on the pedestal of the monument.
